If you are playing on a tablet, that is likely the reason. Resource heavy features, like avatars moving and dancing, are deactivated on lower end tablets. The game could fail entirely if those features were active.

I'm on a laptop/notebook and see nothing if I select a dance move. The avatars are all pictures that don't move. Am I missing something?

Hello - I can't see my avatar when I'm changing outfits. There is sometimes a jumbled image of "parts" in the bottom of the viewing area. More often, the area is blank. At parties, I may see one or two guests and bits and pieces of the other guests. I do not see my avatar at all in these settings. It's been happening for about two weeks. Thanks!
