help on getting hair on avatar

every since I remove the hat on one outfits the hair went also and I cant get the hair back that i had on the avatar back with the outfit without having to buy a new hair with every outfit and there is a green halo around the hair style I cant get rid off and cant get hair back permanetly when I change outfit need help.

  Try taking it off and putting it back on, I know this is a connection issue. Let me know if that helps.
