sudden drop in daily coins

I have been playing here for years, got tons of charms from daily usage and suddenly my count drops to 2 days signing in and starts me all over again.  What happened?  I have all the charms for days up to 650 days and now back to 2 days.

  If you miss a day playing they take them away and you have to start all over again.
