I THINK YOU'RE BETTER OFF TO USE THOSE 70 GEMS, GO TO A PARTY THAT REQUIRES 70 GEMS (OR CLOSE TO THAT AMOUNT) AND RECEIVE 25 CHARMS FOR THAT 70 GEM ENTRANCE FEE.

YOU CAN THEN USE THOSE 25 CHARMS IN YOUR SLOT GAMES. YOU WILL NO DOUBT, WIN MORE COINS OVERALL WITH THOSE 25 PARTY CHARMS, VS. PURCHASING A 2-FOR-1 DOUBLE COIN WINNING.

PLUS, YOU WILL NEED TO CONTRIBUTE SOME SMALLER CHARMS INTO THE POT, ONCE ATTENDING THESE CHARM PARTIES. BUT THE OVERALL AMOUNT OF CHARMS YOU RECEIVE BACK, BASED FROM THE OTHER 25 PARTY ATTENDEES, IS ALWAYS FAR GREATER THAN WHAT YOU YOURSELF CONTRIBUTED INTO THE POT  : )

ONCE THE PARTY IS OVER, THE AMOUNT OF CHARMS YOU NOW HAVE, CAN BE QUITE SUBSTANTIAL. BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER TO BE FAIR AND CONTRIBUTE SOME CHARMS WHILE ATTENDING THESE PARTIES TOO  : )

Jackie: I never thought of it that way, but it's a very good approach and quite logical.  Most of the time, I leave a party with tons more charms than what I paid to enter.  And I always contribute, as well.  I've always felt that the 2-for-1 double your winnings offer was a scam.  It seems almost as soon as you purchase it, you go into a terrible losing streak on that slot, and more often than not, VW has taken back all the coins you doubled and has your gems to boot!

    Hello Kiku Kichi

I think players would be far more appreciative if VW gave this 2-for-1 Charm Offer for a much lower purchase price of  5 - 10 gems. That would make it a true BONUS vs. charging a high and unjustifiable gem amount.  Most new players assume it "must be" a good buy, until they realize it's poor value afterwards. Players need to have trust in VW otherwise, things start to deteriorate. Players can easily lose faith, become upset, then quickly cancel memberships. There is no "cost" to VW in giving frequent gem giveaways and creating new incentives to players whenever certain goals or levels are achieved. Each of these bonus wins, needs to show true value to each and every player.  But to lose a member, for any reason, should be something that VW considers very carefully. The high dollar membership loss is a far greater loss to VW  vs. rewarding players more often, more generously and therefore keeping everyone much happier. This creates good game relationships, creates more game recommendations and helps keep longer, yearly term memberships.

Good morning, Jackie!  You should work for VW!  :)

Seriously, a lot of players feel the same way you do.  It costs nothing for VW to at least reward players with higher coin values.  Coins are worthless to VW but have tremendous value to players who are trying to advance. I don't know if you've ever had to deal with customer service, but I have done so several times and finally gave up because I tired of the cut-and-paste answers I received, sometimes the same answer several times for the same inquiry.

As for cancelling memberships, my husband purchased a monthly elite membership for me and after the Airship Adventure double your winnings fiasco, I cancelled it.  Their response to my issue with this slot was pitiful.

Jackie: I tried an experiment with your suggestion about using the 70 gems to enter a party (and win 25 total charms), as opposed to using it to "double your win with two charms" offer.  I found that a 70 gem charm (boxed wine) gave me 347,000 coins. Multiply that by 25 and you get 8,675,000 coins. The double your win offer I received offered me a total of  5,750,000, plus two 70 gem charms (about 694,000 coins). The grand total of that double your win offer would theoretically win me about 6,444,000 coins which is 2,231,000 coins less than if I won 25 charms at a 70 gem party. Plus I would probably get several more charms from 24 other attendees at the party. I would have thrown charms myself, so you have to take that into consideration. Overall, your suggestion to use those 70 gems for a charm party instead of doubling your win makes so much sense. Especially since VW will undoubtably take those coins back if you continue to play the slot that you won that offer on, plus they will have also taken your 70 gems.
